ABOUT ME
I bought my first DSLR camera after my daughter was born in Montana. I wanted to take high quality photos of our growing family. When we moved to Crested Butte, Colorado, I couldn’t help but take photos of my “wild neighbors” as well. Now, my daughter and I go on almost daily adventures looking for wildlife. My goal is always to show animals in their natural state, but I also see more than that. When I look at one of my photos I also see the journey it took to get there. The tracking, the hiking, the luck, the snacks to keep a toddler happy, but most of all I see my daughter learning and seeing wildlife in ways that rarely are seen. Which really is why I enjoy photography so much. My camera allows me to capture these hidden moments with these incredible animals and then share a glimpse into their lives with others.
